Standup Paddle Boarding in Phewa Lake

Standup Paddle Boarding is one of the exciting water sports that is possible in the largest lake of Pokhara – Phewa. Known as SUP, the sport was introduced in 2017 in Nepal and has surprisingly gained a lot of audiences as it is challenging yet fun-filled. Besides Phewa Lake, SUP is possible in Trishuli, and Seti, where it can be multi-day excursions.

The biggest boom in the water sports world, SUP, has attracted many tourists to Pokhara, and the number is increasing every day. You can make a self-hire trip with guided half-day sessions with qualified guides. The SUP sessions are run twice a day in the Phewa Lake (morning and afternoon) by some water sports organizers who also offer lunch along with gears.

To increase skill on SUP or learn more about it, you can take multi-day sessions. With two to three sessions, a Paddler can usually go on self-paddling the SUP with ease. This water sport is quite different from others and is all about balancing and strength. It is the best way to explore your balancing skill and beat the summer in the best way.

The price of SUP per hour costs NPR 700, for half-day costs NPR 2,500, and the entire day costs NPR 3,500.
