Started as a weapon to hunt animals either on foot or horse, Nepalese archers created their archers using bamboo bow and arrow. Nepal has given space for archery today, and several archery clubs have been established in Kathmandu valley, creating a comeback of this activity n Nepal. The first-ever archery center was established on 22nd November 2014, known as – The Best Archery, in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur. Surprisingly the archery center received many tourists and aroused the interest among young locals and students in Nepal taking archery into the international level.
Archery is not as simple as other sports and requires extreme patience and dedication to master it. The practice of archery helps one to calm his mind and focus on a significant level. A single person sport, archery, has its value in different national and international competitions. One of the forms of meditation that benefits one’s mind and body is that archery can be taken as a recreational activity.
For beginners, looking for fun, can try and learn archery or even take the learning course. With professional teachers, the session becomes fruitful, and you will learn basic things about it. You will receive your bow and arrow, and the gears that you will have to wear before starting it.
