The Tamang Heritage Tour is a newly discovered, week-long tour from Kathmandu Valley. Combining pristine views of mountains and insight into unique cultures of an indigenous ethnic group of Nepal – Tamang, the journey is full of natural beauty. The trails are covered with green meadows, rhododendron alleys, and alpine terrain, which ends up in Tamang village.

You will be able to experience and learn the lifestyle of the community people, witness their culture and craft like bamboo baskets and mats. The outstanding views possible from the region are mountains like Langtang Lirung, Langtang Kirung, Chumse Danda ridge, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal, and Jugal Himal, Paldor Peak, Shringi Himal, etc. The glaciers of different sizes like Gosaikunda, Pravatikunda, Bhairavkunda, Dudhkunda, etc. are also part of the trail.

The trekking is quite difficult compared to other village tours as you will have to camp on your trail and climb up as 3,165 m altitude, but the journey and destination are worth all the difficulty.
